4th of July

For the celebration of the 4th, we went to the church breakfast and bike/scooter parade, and then spent the afternoon at the pool, before going and watching some fireworks.  It was especially fun to have Greg with us, since he had been so busy with bar prep.  What we didn't know at the time was that the kids were not going to see him again after the 4th until July 28th.  Crazy!  He got up and left before they woke and got home after they went to bed.  We felt lucky that we did get to see him for an hour at church some of those weeks, but definitely no quality time.  So, we had a great holiday!
^^This is what tired looks like.

Thanks to my cute cousin Lauren for taking the sparkler pictures!

Del Mar Fair

Keeping in tradition, we went to the Del Mar Fair.  Greg couldn't join, but the kids and I had a nice time with my cousin Brooke.

Feeding some goats.

They each got to pick a couple of rides, a couple of treats, and a game.  Felicity's treat here is my favorite thing they have at the fair.  It's a potato deep-fried on a stick with lemon pepper.  Love.
 Motherlode of sprinkles.

Strawberry Picking

I've been missing from the blogosphere for a month or so because my computer with all my photos has been attending bar prep classes (my computer is newer and works with the testing software you use to take the bar, so Greg has been using my laptop).  So here is one from June with my little strawberry picker.
