Greg and the guys got together to play for the Race Judicada (it's a law school joke) which benefits the California Innocence Project (where law students and volunteer lawyers get together to exonerate those who have been wrongfully imprisoned, particularly in cases that were tried before DNA was a factor). The run is a 5k, and the band was there to greet the students at the finish line. The local news was there because there was a 9 year old girl who was running in the event to support the release of her father, who is imprisoned (presumably wrongfully imprisoned) for murdering her mother. (Sort of creepy really.) But anyway, the news people took a bunch of footage of the band, but they did not end up hitting the news. Maybe next time.
I had a birthday! Greg couldn't be home, so my friends stepped up. Met some girls at lunch (chickfila, obviously) and then Emily had me over for dinner and cupcakes! Thanks for the good times, ladies! (And Buzz.)
Additionally, Greg had his birthday the week later. I told him that I had to go to Murrieta to resuce my stranded sister so that he would agree to go out with the guys after school for dinner at Smashburger. Then the kids and I surprised him there. He had been pretty disappointed that we weren't going to be around on his birthday, so he was happy to see us. But, we didn't take any pictures.
So, I made a new header. And I am proud of it, because it took me a realllllly long time. And lest any of my eager readers are users of RSS Feed, I wanted you to be able to see it. (PS, my sister said there might be more Felicity than Charlie, but I double checked and there is actually only one more of Felicity than Charlie, so don't worry.)
So, I find my little daughter terribly cute. In case you aren't convinced, look at this hilarious little face.(cell phone photo, poor quality)
Charlie (also darling, for the record) saw me take a picture of Felicity here, so he wanted to be in one as well. I told Sadie and Ty to join him, and Sadie sat down and did not like the pokey straw at all. So she decided to take another tack. I thought it was funny to see a little four year old trying to sit on a little three year old. Using her feminine wiles to secure a comfy seat. (I think it loses something in the retelling, but just believe me, it was funny.)
